Modernise and significantly improve how to communicate Canon’s brand guidelines across internal and external creative agencies and partners.

Role

Product owner, principle architect & project lead, I was integral to the success of this project, including management of securing budget, navigating strict IT procurement processes, product on-boarding, security assessments and critical business relations (renewals, contracts, enhancements, operational efficiency).

Outcome

Delivering a digital platform at this scale was not easy. I’ve had to deal with a swath of corporate processes, meetings, strategic alignment, strict IT processes, risk assessments and legal requirements, which culminated in a successful launch of the platform, and we saw wide adoption indicating an effective launch.

Delivered a full-stack digital brand solution, including discovery, strategic planning, procurement, technical IT & security handling and deployment.

I helped unlock an entirely new communication narrative across Canon’s gigantic business operations, helping thousands of employees absorb critical brand information and ultimately improving brand recognition and consistency across EMEA.

Delivered a company first cross-business campaigns & toolkits hub via the brand site (Frontify).

Collaborated and delivered various business critical guidelines and innovative brand strategy.

Developed and delivered a wide range of templates tailored for professional print productions and mass marketing.

Varied product launch advertorials, posters and flyers.

The brand site I delivered very quickly became absolutely essential to daily marketing operations, and managing the day-to-day was incredibly rewarding and helped improve brand perception through consistency of design, visual identity and brand values.
